Trading Journal - Velocity (”the app”) is developed by Ezzeldin Mohamed. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data you enter

The app lets you log trades, setups, templates, and journal entries, including notes, screenshots you attach, and financial figures like position size, risk, and results. This data is stored on your device and synced through Apple’s CloudKit using your own iCloud account. We do not operate a server, and this data never passes through infrastructure we control. We cannot see, access, or sell it.

Account identifier

The app reads a scoped iCloud user identifier from your device, provided by Apple, so it can link your journal data to your iCloud account. This identifier is specific to this app and does not include your name, email, or Apple ID. We do not request or collect your name or email address.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple’s StoreKit and billed to your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple may share limited purchase and transaction data with us as the developer, which we use only to unlock the tier you paid for.

What we don’t do

We do not run analytics or crash reporting, show ads, track you across other apps or websites, or sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. We do not operate a backend server for this app.

Deleting your data

Deleting a journal, trade, setup, or template in the app removes it from your device and from iCloud. Deleting the app, or turning off iCloud sync for it in iPhone Settings, removes your data from that device and stops future sync; data already synced to iCloud follows Apple’s iCloud retention behavior.
